Jordann Balaich RN, LALD
As Co-Owner, Registered Nurse and Licensed Assisted Living Director,Jordann Balaich oversees the daily operations at Open Arms Senior Living. Jordann began her nursing career graduating from a CNA course her senior year of high school. She went on to college for Practical Nursing working as an LPN for several years in Assisted Living. While pregnant with her second child, she decided to go back to college to further her nursing career. After graduating with her ASN degree, she accepted an RN Director position at a highly respected Advanced Care Assisted Living. This is where her drive and passion for leadership in senior care began.
Jordann’s healthcare experience includes Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Hospice/Homecare. She provides overall vision, drive and leadership to Open Arms Senior Living. She believes in building relationships with residents, families and team members. Jordann lives in Duluth with her husband and 3 daughters. When not watching her children play sports, she enjoys spending time at the cabin, hiking and leading her daughter’s Girl Scout Troop.
Stephanie Allen - Director of Nursing
Since the beginning Stephanie has always had an upbeat, positive, and compassionate approach to helping others. She comes from a long line of healthcare professionals and began her journey in the field while still in high school. Starting as a CNA, she obtained her LPN in 2013, shortly thereafter became an RN in 2018. She continues to further her education every year and is on her way to becoming a nurse practitioner. She has experience in a variety of areas including behavioral health, pediatrics, and long-term care. Her focus is to enrich the lives of others while at work or within the community.
Stephanie has been an active participant in community leadership youth organizations for over 15 years and in her free time enjoys spending time with her four children and traveling. “Life is about experiences and the people you share it with along the way.” She hopes to continue making a difference in the lives of others and building connections with the people around her.
